Custom stained glass mosaic lobster wall art.

I made this piece for a fun family that loves the beach and had an entire room themed in a seaside motif.

It measures approximately 1 7"w x 32"h and was made with vintage encyclopedia illustrations in mind. The customer came to me with an idea of a lobster mosaic and were gracious enough to let me run wild with it. I had an idea and researched the look I was envisioning, combing through books on hand and the internet to find examples of what I was thinking. I okayed that with the customer and proceeded to make a drawing of exactly what I was thinking using the source material. I kept them updated on the process and worked with them to get it just right.

They were overjoyed with the result, as am I, this piece remains a favorite after many subsequent pieces.

The price I put in the listing is approximate, all prices for custom pieces are negotiated with the client during the design process based on budget, materials and time.

I just want you to be aware that I am about four to six months out with orders. I will try to get you order to your as quickly as I can but due to order volume and the time it takes to make these pieces I have found myself extended beyond Etsy's allotted time frame. Based on the number of vendors they manage Etsy is incapable of fully recognizing the necessary flexibility and ultimate commitment and responsibility I have for each individually designed order.
